How to get the best out of Storytime for your child:
Arrive with enough time to settle yourself and your child before Storytime starts. You and your child will not miss a thing!
Don’t talk during Storytime. Talking and noise distract children and make it difficult for the storyteller.
Sit with you child if possible. Young children may not know how to behave at Storytime; you have to set the example.

Listen and participate with your children. Learn the songs so you can sing them together! Your children will enjoy you retelling the stories and playing games with them.
If your child’s attention wanders remind them to listen. If your child becomes too unsettled please take them outside until they are resettled.
Please switch your mobile phone to silent. If you have to take a call during the session please move away from the Storytime area.
Never leave your child unattended – The best place for your child is by your side where you know they are safe.
Have a wonderful Storytime Experience!
