Homework Help

Support for primary school students with homework, reading and writing is available at Liverpool City Library and selected branches during school term.


Reading Group
Liverpool City Library
Tuesdays 3.40-4.30 pm
This guided reading group is limited to 8 students and is designed for students in Years 3-4 who need support with reading. The tutor is an experienced reading support tutor, and all reading materials will be supplied. We require a referral from your child’s school to join the group. Homework Help: Science and Maths

Bring along your maths and science homework and our talented volunteers will help you solve the problems your teacher has set you! These are informal drop-in sessions, and each session will be strictly limited to 15 students. Sign up on the day: only one session per student per week.

Students in years 3-6 bring along your homework for help with English and HSIE subjects, or for general writing help. These are informal drop-in sessions, and each session will be strictly limited to 12 students. Sign up on the day: only one session per student per week.




These sessions are currently run by volunteers, including qualified adults and high school students with excellent academic records.

Rhyme Time
