Senior Book Chat discussion groups held at the Moorebank Library is part of an innovative program to promote reading. Members read the same book, discuss and share their responses with each other.

Tech Savvy Seniors: Hindi 4 Sessions


NSW ‘Tech Savvy Seniors’ program is a key initiative of the NSW Ageing Strategy and the Telstra Digital Literacy Strategy. The main objective is to deliver internet training workshops for the older community. This year the focus is on Tech Savvy Seniors in Community Languages.

Each session runs for 2 hours. Bookings are required as limited places are available. Bookings can be made in person, by phone or via the library website.

Have you been keen to connect with the grandkids on Facebook? Feel like sending your opinions to your local politician via Twitter? How about posting a photo of your latest baking or building project on Instagram? Social media can feel like a minefield to those of us not born into the digital age, but it’s also a fun and free way to stay connected with friends, family and the bigger world out there. Come along to this friendly and free program where you will learn everything you need to know about social media. All skill levels catered for. Topics include: What is Social Media? Facebook,
Twitter, Skype, Instagram and YouTube.
