ANZAC Badge Making - School Holidays

Thursday, 21 April 2022 | 10:30am - 12pm | Liverpool | Kids

The Commonwealth Button Fund was a charitable fundraising organisation during World War I, from 1915 to 1920. It operated in Victoria by mostly women volunteers whose primary purpose was to organise "Button Days" to sell fundraising badges to raise and distribute funds to a multitude of charities including the Red Cross, hospitals, Wattle Day, soldiers, war comforts and war relief.

To commemorate our ANZACs, Liverpool Regional Museum will be hosting a free badge-making workshop where kids can learn how to create their own World War 1 patriotic and peace badges.

Suitable for ages 6 -14 years.
