Join us for "Dead & Buried", a captivating history seminar that delves into Sydney's three earliest burial grounds: the Old Burial Ground (George Street), Devonshire Street "Sandhill's Cemetery", and the grand Victorian Rookwood Necropolis.

Renowned cultural historian Warren Fahey will uncover the stories of notable burials and the colourful history of the good, bad, and ugly side of Sydney city. This illustrated talk will also explore changing attitudes towards death, especially in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Warren Fahey is a prolific author, performer, and occasional ABC commentator, celebrated for his engaging and informative speaking style. Specialising in the quirky and curious sides of history, Warren has been honoured with the Order of Australia, the Prime Minister's Centennial Medal, the Advance Australia Award, and the Don Banks Music Award for lifetime achievement in music.
