Summer Reading Club: Tales of Wonder

Friday, 11 December 2020 - Friday, 05 February 2021 | 9:30am - 5pm | Carnes Hill, Casula, Green Valley, Liverpool, Miller, Moorebank | Kids

Over summer, there's no need to kiss a frog or summon a genie to experience something magical.

Read fairy-tales, fables, myths and legends (or anything you like, really!) to become a princess, sail to far off lands or conquer monsters.

Explore, write and create all summer in the club. Return the entry pages to your local library by 5pm on February 5 2021, and you just might win a prize. How easy is that?

Why do we run the Summer Reading Club?
Over the school holidays when kids aren’t going to school, they can forget how to read. Not completely - but a little bit. Reading is like playing a sport - if you don’t train regularly, you’ll find it harder to play your best and if you don’t read often, you’ll find it harder too. We want kids in our community to find reading easy in February when they return to school.
