Stories from beneath the ground: the things we thought we knew. In 2021, Liverpool City Council in partnership with the Office of Australian War Graves commissioned Austral Archaeology to locate at least 44 unmarked World War 1 graves. In 2022, investigations continue to locate pauper’s remains in the northern end of the cemetery.
Thomas Wheeler has overseen heritage projects for Liverpool City Council including the recent restoration of historic homestead Collingwood House (c.1810) and currently the Liverpool Court House (c.1820).
