Meeting rooms for hire

Liverpool City Library’s main branch, in Liverpool’s central business district, has five meeting rooms of varying size available for hire. All are accessible to those with a disability.

Liverpool City Council also has 19 multipurpose sites with a variety of rooms that can be hired for private functions such as weddings, engagements, adults' and children's parties and family gatherings.

The ORANGE room, located at the ground floor of the Library, 25 seated, 40 concert style. There is access to tea-making facilities. This is a fully accessible multi-purpose room. See conditions of use.

The PINK room, located at the first floor of the Library, 35 seated, 60 concert style. Can be combined with Purple Room by opening the operable wall between them to form a room that will seat up to 120 people concert-style or 70 people seated at tables. This is a fully accessible multi-purpose room. See conditions of use.

The PURPLE room, located at the first floor of the Library, 35 seated, 60 concert style. Can be combined with Pink Room by opening the operable wall between them to form a room that will seat up to 120 people concert-style or 70 people seated at tables. The GOLD room, located in the Reading Room of the Library, 45 seated, 80 concert style. This is a fully accessible multi-purpose room. See conditions of use.

The SILVER room, located in the Reading Room of the Library, 20 seated, 30 concert style. This is a fully accessible multi-purpose room. See conditions of use.
