Membership is free at Liverpool City Libraries.
How do I join?
Anyone aged 16 or over, can join the library online and immediately access our online resources with a temporary membership number. To borrow physical items from the library you'll need to visit one of our branches, show proof of identity with your name and current address and a staff member will issue you with a library card.
For children under 16, a parent or guardian needs to visit one of our branches and sign the library membership form. The parent or guardian must provide identification with their name and current address including proof of relationship to the child such as a Medicare card.

What can I borrow?
Membership gives you access to a large collection of books, movies, magazines, including online resources such as eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines and digital research content accessible anytime from anywhere.
How many items can I borrow?
With your library card, you may borrow up to 50 items for 3 weeks.
