Drop in, have a go at using the accessible technology, or learn how the library can support people with disabilities.

A librarian will be there to help teach you the basics and answer your questions on:

Technology has become a part of so many people’s lives, but not everyone has the skills or confidence to keep up with the constant changes. This course is aimed at those with no or limited experience with technology, teaching them the basics of using computers.

Beginner classes will be offered at Green Valley, Carnes Hill, Liverpool and Moorebank Libraries starting 11 October 2022.

Learn techniques and skills in this inclusive club for electronics enthusiasts.

Knowledge of computers is required and we ask that participants commit to all four sessions.

Laptops will be provided, participants must have a Library card to use laptops. Library membership is free and can be completed on the day.

Level up your coding skills using the accessible programming language, Scratch.

Beginner's welcome, though basic knowledge of computers is required. Participants will need to bring a USB to save their projects and commit to the whole term. Laptops will be provided, but students may bring their own personal laptop device.

PYTHON CODING MICROBITS Term 4 @ Liverpool Library

Meet with other coders and learn how to program Microbit’s using Python.

Python is a text based coding language with real world applications for coding. Learn techniques and skills in this inclusive club for young coders.

Knowledge of computers is required. Participants will need to bring a USB to save their projects and commit to the whole term.

Tickets are available to use Library laptops, customers are required to have their own library card to access computers.

Bring your own device tickets are also available for customers who are able to bring their own laptop.
