The Living Stories Western Sydney Writing Prize returns for its 6th year in 2026.
As you prepare to enter the competition, join us for a free creative writing workshop, hosted by participating libraries across Western Sydney, presented by local professional authors.
The writing workshops will help you prepare your entry: either a short story/narrative non-fiction (up to 500 words) or a poem (up to 25 lines). This year, participants are asked to write in response to the theme: Is It True ...?
Participants must be 18 years and older to attend the program. To ensure the success and safety of the program, anyone outside of the specified age range may have their ticket cancelled.
