Saturday, 27 July 2024 - Saturday, 23 November 2024 | 12pm - 3pm | Liverpool | Multicultural; General

Liverpool City Libraries invites you to join us for a monthly social meeting with SEWA to learn about their programs and services.

SEWA is a non-profit organisation that aims to serve the community by providing humanitarian aid, disaster relief, and community development programs. Since its inception in 1997, it has been one of the few organisations which is fully driven by volunteers.

SEWA Australia:

  • provides support and services to empower and enhance the well-being of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) individuals, families, and communities in need
  • promotes self-sufficiency and resilience
  • builds social connections and community cohesion
  • fosters a sense of belonging among individuals and families from diverse backgrounds
  • creates a more inclusive and equitable society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential

A donation to SEWA is encouraged for catering costs.
