Ian Small is a Sydney-based author and categorises his style as'Australian Faction'... in other words, strongly researched Australian historical fiction.
His first book, 'The Kurrajongs', is an award-winning novel based on the true story of a group of 114 men who left the northern-NSW town of Inverell in 1916 to fight in World War 1.
His second novel, 'The Journey to Cardwell', is nearing completion and will be released shortly.
He will bring some copies of 'The Kurrajongs' with him for sale on the day.
