The City of Liverpool and District Historical Society Inc.
The City of Liverpool and District Historical Society Inc. was established in 1959 by a small group of residents who were from old Liverpool families such as Fitzpatrick, Collimore, Rowe, Kelly, Hill and Havard. They were proud of Liverpool’s history and were committed to preserving and promoting its unique story.
The City of Liverpool and District Historical Society Inc. records the ongoing history of Liverpool by collecting ephemera, items of local interest and collections that relate to the LGA's history and make it available for people to see in unique online exhibitions and collections, although they currently do not have a permanent location to call home.
Their collection is currently stored in ’Eber’s Bunker’ under Liverpool Library.
