Join us for a History lesson each fortnight and learn something new!
Before Hugh Jackman and even before Errol Flynn, there was Frank Hagney, Australia's most prolific and hardest working actor in Hollywood.
Join Glen op den Brouw, President of the City of Liverpool & District Historical Society as he unveils the incredible life of local lad Frank Hagney. From boy soldier in the Boer War to winning the World Marathon Rowing Championship at the age of 44, the life and times of Frank Hagney is a boys own adventure that is so far fetched that it couldn't be true. Except, that it is, all true.
