Are you a collector?
Since ancient times people have collected objects. Museums collect objects to tell stories and preserve artefacts for future generations.
Join the Liverpool Regional Museum Kids’ Curator and Collector Club to learn the art of collecting and to share your collection with other collectors in this two-part online program.
Suitable for ages 9-14.
Part A: Wednesday 22 September
11am - 11.40am
Online via Zoom
Welcome to the club! In this session, we'll ask: What is a collection? What do curators do? and we'll meet some collectors. You'll get some ideas to help display your collections and ideas for next week's members’ presentations.

It's your turn: show us your collection!
Curator and Collector Club members will have to the opportunity to share their own collection, following on from the previous session. Be prepared to answer questions from your fellow club members and ask them about their collections.
At the end of the program, each club member will receive a special inaugural Kid’s Curator and Collector Club certificate emailed to them and their collection will be featured on the Liverpool Regional Museum Instagram/ Facebook page over the following weeks.
