NAWI Canoe Project: A talk by Auntie Carol Brown

A few years ago, Indigenous students from Lawrence Hargrave School were involved in building a traditional Nawi canoe with the Australian National Maritime Museum.

Auntie Carol Brown, Aboriginal Community Liaison Officer, Student Support and Specialist Programs Directorate, NSW Department of Education and Training, will discuss the positive impact of the project on the students and the revitalising of traditional practices.

Liverpool Regional Museum will be hosting the presentation on the NAWI Canoe Project.
