Is your child too active for our Baby Rhymetime session, but not yet ready for our Pre-school Storytime?
This engaging, weekly program introduces children to early literacy, imagination, communication and social skills. We use scarves, ribbons, songs, action rhymes and musical instruments to keep them singing, dancing and reading along.
Toddler Time is best suited for children aged 18 months – 3 years.
These drop-in sessions are free and run during school terms only.
Why is it important?
- Develops skills and knowledge needed to read later on and a love of books
- Gives your child an opportunity to interact with children of similar ages, develop their independence and practice social skills
- Provides ideas on how to foster literacy at home
- Helps with co-ordination and physical readiness for school
