Keen to test out your detective and science skills these school holidays?
Register for your free spot in this CSI workshop run by Fizzics Education at Green Valley Library this September.
This workshop will intrigue and engage budding detectives who love both science and a bit of drama. Highly engaging, even for adults!
You will work in groups to do:
- Fingerprinting and blood typing.
- Facial reconstruction via computer and real models.
- Hair and fibre analysis.
- Fluorescence of oils, plant identification and DNA comparisons.
- Latent image detection, chromatography and shoe impression casting!
- Evidence collection and more…
Learn why crime scenes are isolated from the public, why certain evidence is more valuable than others and why a clear chain of evidence is needed from the crime scene to the eventual court case.
