What is the Summer Reading Club?
Summer Reading Club is a free holiday program to encourage reading over the summer school holidays. This year our theme is 'Your Adventure Awaits' and we encourage you to explore all the library has to offer.
You can also go into the running to win great prizes such as a gift voucher to grab some great new books and storytelling games, and earn a spot on our Summer Holiday Library Legends photo wall.
How can I take part?
- Join your local library, either in person or online.
- Register online here and grab an activity booklet at your local library. (Registrations open 5 December)
- Read books or listen to stories of your choice during the summer.
- Fill in your activity booklet over the summer.
- Attend our school holiday activities
There are great prizes on offer for taking part! To enter the Summer Reading Club Prize Draw:
- The Summer Reading Club Prize Draw is open to children aged 0 - 12.
- To enter, you will need to register using the above link.
- Fill in your activity booklet, return to any of our libraries before 5pm on Sunday 29 January to earn a spot on our Summer Holiday Library Legends photo wall and go into the draw to win one of our fantastic Summer Holiday prizes.
- We also have a prize for the Liverpool School with the most entries!
