On the internet, you cannot always be sure that people are who they say they are, and it can be hard to know what information is safe to share online when someone might be lying to you. Being aware of internet scammers is one of the most important steps towards avoiding being targeted. We have all heard of the scams and tricks that can happen online but once you know their tricks, you should be able to spot a scam more easily.
This Scam Awareness Week, come to our Scam Awareness Workshop to learn about keeping your private information safe, the most common scams like phishing or fake text messages, how to recognise scam warning signs, and what to do if you do get scammed.
