Research skills are something that every student needs to not only do well in life but help you develop critical thinking skills. Come to the eResource eXpress sessions to find out what resources the library has to help you work on assignments, study for your exams, and practice the research skills that you will carry with you throughout your school life and into whatever you do next.
General Research Skills will help you learn how to develop a search strategy, use Boolean operators, and use multidisciplinary databases to help you start your research no matter what topics you're studying. We'll also look at how to filter your results and begin the evaluating process so you're only reading quality research that will help you support your assignments.
For high school students in Years 10 to 12.
